November Madness!

Hi All Apologies for a lack of blogs of late. Lot’s have things have been changing of late. You may of noticed that the site has had a complete make over of late. We’re still tweeking things at the moment and more things will be added soon, including some video and a few alterations but pretty pleased with it. The idea behind it is to make it very easy to use for anyone browsing the site whether you’re on a pc, tablet or phone. Hope you like it. On top of that November has been a very busy month of weddings and parties which is good. Had so much fun at all the gigs. If you were at Wokefield park for Tom’s wedding on Friday then it was great to meet you all. I performed table magic and mix and mingle magic and the vibe in the room was full on, great fun and such a large wedding, seemed like well over 250 guests. So now I head into pretty much the busiest time of the year with the Christmas season upon us. I’m going to try and blog about every gig starting on Wednesday this week, along side some photo shots from the different parties. All the best for now. Guy Magic Entertainment

Wedding Industry Awards 2013

Hi Team

Hope all’s well, so chuffed today as we’ve won our first Gold and a great Bronze also, now come on Wiggo!

Anyway in other news I’m trying to go one step further this year and try and win the national award at the 2013 Wedding Industry Award. I won the regional award last year and lost out at the Nationals so it would be great to go all the way.

My profile is now up on the Wedding Industry Award site http://www.the-wedding-industry-awards.co.uk/ and any couples who’d like to vote for me can here http://www.the-wedding-industry-awards.co.uk/2013/south-west/entertainment/guy-portlock-magic-entertainment .

The weddings need to be between 01.11.11 and 31.10.12 to count towards this years award.

Thank you to anyone who votes for me.

Gemma and Mike’s Wedding

Hi Team

Enjoyed visiting a new venue last night at Elvetham Hotel in Hook. Really lovely venue, very grand with some fantastic gardens (see pics). I heard it rained a bit first thing but it was glourious later with full on sun!

I was working after the wedding breakfast and was asked to keep the evening guests entertained in the bar and gardens while the speeches were coming to an end and then mix and mingle with all the guests as they came together.

Managed to spend some good time with both the bride and groom and really enjoying meeting all the other guests.

Congratulations to Gemma and Mike and good luck in the future.

Enjoy the rest of the week folks and here’s to more medals for team GB!!!
